An AKC Bred with H.E.A.R. T breeder makes an on-going commitment to the health and wellbeing of purebred dogs by committing to these program requirements:

HEALTH

Certifying that their breeding stock is health tested in accordance with the recommendations of their breed's AKC Breed Parent Club. We actually go above the basic four required by the national club.

EDUCATION

Promising that they will pursue AKC provided or AKC approved continuing breeder education

so that they stay current on the best breeding practices, including advances in canine health.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Agreeing to comply with the AKC Care and Conditions Policy, including inspections by the AKC, and promising to share with AKC health testing and continuing education documentation.

RESPONSIBILITY

Upholding the AKC's tradition of breeding purebred dogs that are happy and healthy.

TRADITION

A lifelong commitment to the health, well-being, and betterment of purebred dogs.

Thank you for your interest in Promise Land Puppies! We encourage you to reach out via email with any questions, as we may not always be to take phone calls. Please note that our puppies are primarily sold by reservation, which requires a non-refundable reservation fee (accepted via Venmo).

This fee helps ensure that buyers are committed to their purchase.

Final payments must be made in Cash to avoid additional fees.

We also offer payment options through Good Dog, which includes credit card payments and financing plans, although a surcharge will apply. There are additional hidden fees on Good dog around a $280 processing fee and $228 TAX. Xtra Charge $448 I have been told by customers. These are nt my fees.

Please be aware that we do not accept Venmo on the day of pickup, the puppy can be pre-paid in advance. When using Venmo for final payment tax is $228 TAX. Thank you for understanding our policies!

Each puppy comes with a one-year health guarantee. We will extend our warranty if NuVet is given. This ensures us the dog is maintaining great nutrition. When you use NuVet, ordering with our reference number, we will extend our warranty for an additional 12 months (combined total of 2-year warranty).
Puppy Packet (Buyer’s guide including LTD AKC registration, a toy they have played with and has been rubbed over mom, a sample packet of food, emailed (training tips, feeding tips, things poisonous, suggestions and health tips).
We now also included 30 days free of Trupanion Insurance.
Final check-up from the veterinarian where they are given a heart and full body examination.
We use Embark to run full Genetics on every parent. This helps to eliminate hereditary diseases in offspring. This is essential for protecting health, improving performance, and preserving strong bloodlines.
We are inspected by Anne Arundel County Animal Control yearly.
We are a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America.
We include in our health screening tests for our Golden Parents Pennhip, OFA Elbows, OFA Eyes, OFA patella, OFA Dentition, OFA Thyroid, OFA Heart and genetic testing is also done.
We are a Breeder with Heart with AKC.
We are rated excellent by Good Dog in the evaluation of Golden Retriever Breeders going above what the Golden Retriever Club of American guidelines for breeding dogs required.

Most of our breeding dogs live in Guardian/ Foster homes with there loving families.

We have a female available for a Guardian homes. There is no charge for a Guardian dog. Please read the information and contact if you are interested. The dog becomes the families at the completion of her time in our program. We help with vaccines as well until dog is retried from program.

Guardian Home information.

We are taking reservation deposits for our Dec. take-home puppies . After puppies are born and 3 weeks of age we will go down our list and ask families which litter they would like to be on.
